Description

Nozzles are usually tubes with varying cross-sectional areas that can be used to direct or modify the flow of fluid. Nozzles are often used to control the flow rate, velocity, direction, mass, shape and / or pressure of the water flowing from them. In the nozzle, the velocity of the fluid increases at the cost of its pressure energy.

Steam nozzle is an important device to generate high kinetic energy. This energy is used for different purposes, i.e. supplying water to the boiler pump in the ejector, maintaining a vacuum in the condenser, and running the rotor in the turbine. In steam turbine, the nozzle plays an important role by transforming the enthral of steam into dynamic enthral.
